Saved Because They “Pray Hard Enough”?!

You know what Pat? You're sick!

Do you know how sick is Pat Robertson?

March 5, 2012, After visiting and watching a clip regarding on how he reacts about the tornado that hit a Kentucky in US and telling that tornadoes could had been stopped if people had prayed. Pat Robertson said that if people prayed hard enough, there will be no tornadoes. And not just that, he even lashed the Haitians that it is just that an earthquake hit Haiti in 2007. The reason is because they made pack with the devil just as he said, “Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it,” he said on Christian Broadcasting Network‘s “The 700 Club.” “They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III, or whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, we will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French. True story. And so, the devil said, okay it’s a deal.

People like him irritates me. Anyone who associates natural disasters with God, prayers, morality, etc. are the true scums of the earth.

They are not just belittling those who did not pray, but they are insulting the memories of those who had perished. They are insulting their fellow believers who actually prayed. They are insulting the faith of their fellow believers.

And what they are really showing to people is not the ‘lack of faith‘ but their “superiority” in terms of favour from the god they are worshipping. They have time to show off that they are always protected by the God because they “pray hard enough” and therefore “favorite of the lord” but they don’t have the time to be sympathetic to the victims?

Look at all these self-proclaimed righteous Christians. Is this what Christianity is about today? Or you would rather be defensive and troll me with “Not all Christians are like that!” and “Protestants/Born Again, etc are not Christians?

I’m referring to you, yes you! The one who would rather clean other people’s backyard than your own. The one who would rather preach, give away Bibles, tell them about the salvation of your Jesus Christ, or tell people that your church is the real Christian church rather than actually helping.
