AT LEAST three minors were accused of molesting a 10-year-old girl in Barangay Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City.
In a radio interview, the grandfather of the victim said the three minors are aged 13, 12, and 11 who are their neighbors.
Based on the account of the victim, she said it was the 13-year-old who first raped her last November 5.
She said the suspect threatened her and told her not to tell anybody about the incident.
The victim said the two other minors took turns in molesting her a few days after.
After reading this article about the 3 minors who molest a 10-year-old girl in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, I was really enraged! Those kids knows no discipline and should be castigated! Those juveniles should be brought to jail!
BUT as we all know, being so-called Christian country, law here in our dear land is so lenient to “offending” minors, and that’s the saddest part of our reality. UNLESS! Someone in Congress or Senate propose a bill that will bring a minor in a special jail when one committed a crime, and be put into trial.
So, let the debate begin if a minor who committed a crime specially if it is heinous to be brought behind bars and stand in trial. Or if a child is not possible, let one or both of the offending minors’ parents stand and face the judgement in replacement for the child, for it is their responsibility to discipline the minor.
Just my thought.
The mother of the 13-year-old suspect admitted, though, that she is aware of the crime committed by her son.
